Prison Works, when the gate is locked.

One issue that you have always had a strong opinion on is that prison works, forget community service, rehabilitation orders, and referral orders, to you they are all ‘softy’ approaches and to be quite honest they do nothing at all.

When criminals are locked up they cannot be burglarising houses, robbing pensioners, dealing drugs, drink driving, they cannot be causing misery to citizens of this country.

Sudbury Open Prison in Derbyshire has had five killers abscond since November and over 660 prisoners have absconded in ten years. The point of a prison is to lock up the scum that seem to think it’s alright to commit serious crimes in this Great Country, so what’s the point of having a prison that is OPEN? It completely takes away the whole point.

At this point in time the Criminal Justice System is bent over a desk and all the criminals are stood behind it, having a field day.

Your suggestions to the Government:

Take the Televisions out of prisons.
Disband all the leisure facilities.
Make life, mean Life.
Hard labour for Sex offenders, Drug Dealers, Murderers and Robbers.

Oh yes and let's not forget your most important suggestion of all:

For pitty's sake, lock the gates on all the prisons.
