Apathetic, about belief...........

Muslim WPC refused to shake hands.

Start the Kangaroo court, declare her guilty of bringing the force into disrepute and swiftly execute justice by sending her to the gallows.

If only there were an obvious solution, no wait there is, in the words of Dorothy Parker:

'I shall stay the way I am, because I do not give a damn.'

It seems the media has blown something out of proportion once again, if this WPC didn't want to shake the hand of Sir Ian Blair, she didn't have to, it is that simple. You admire her for standing for what she believes in, for refusing where others would have obeyed, it takes a strong person to do that, that fact no one can deny.

What is the issue here? In short, there shouldn't be one.

Recently you were in the writing room, doing a statement and you heard this over the radio:

'Any mobile at Toytown, can you attend a immediate at 32 Noddy Road? Joanne Jameson has been assaulted by her boyfriend again.'

One of the other officers in the room decided to tell you his thoughts on the subject:

'Third time in two days, could it possibly be because she is a complete gobshite and goes after him with knives all the time? If only forced relocation to a town far away were force policy.'

Send Kain Forestor to the address, with his words of wisdom what could possibly go wrong:

'If we don't take care of the customer, perhaps they'll stop bugging us.'

Well, I'm sorry but I think that is disgusting.

Her religion stops her from touching a man other than her husband or close relative.

I quote from the newspaper:
"But if she was called out to a male victim that had been shot, the law would go out the window."

Excuse me she may have been at a passing out parade but that DOES involve her work.

Therefore her religion should have been "out of the window."

When they say: 'the law would go out the window.', i'm sure they mean Muslim Law, as is illustrated by this quote:

'If she has to resuscitate that dying person, Muslim law will then change and allow her all sorts of physical contact because a life is at risk and life is so precious.' Sheikh Ibraham Mogra
