'A week can be, for some, a life changing time.'

Quote of the week:

‘If we retreat now, hand Iraq over to al-Qaeda and sectarian death squads and Afghanistan back to al-Qaeda and the Taliban, we won't be safer; we will be committing a craven act of surrender that will put our future security in the deepest peril.’ The Right Honorable Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the UK.

Joke of the week:

What is the difference between a feminist and a jet engine?

At some point, a jet engine will eventually run out of fuel and stop whining.

Your woman of the Week:

Abi Titmuss, when God made her, you believe he gave with two, round, wholesome, carefully sculptured hands.

Punchline of the week:

‘They know there isn't some fantasy Government where nothing difficult ever happens. They've got the Lib Dems for that.’ The Right Honorable Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the UK.

Moment of the week:

Tony Blair's speech at the Labour Party Conference. It was brilliant, passionate, direct, inspiring and humorous. People seem to be forgetting that he is one of the most successful Prime Ministers in this great country's history. One of the best moments of his speech was when he stood his ground on the War in Iraq, he defended his decision with skill and grace.

Labour will find it impossible to replace him, and his shoes hard to fill, he is a truly great man.

Hello Joe

I agree with Tony Blair. The bully on the playground never backs down because we ignore them or are nice to them.

You are exactly right my friend, absolutely, but some people just don't want to hear the truth.

Leave Tony Blair alone. He is a man who speaks the truth and I can prove it. At the last election, I saw him on television saying, "If you vote Tory, fuel prices will rise, illegal immigration will reach epic proportions, the crime rate will increase many times, Government Ministers will exhibit their talents for sleaze and greed and the overal quality of life will deteriorate." Well, I voted Tory, didn't I? And Tony was right, fuel prices have gone through the roof, illegal immuigration has reached epic proportions, the crime rate has increased many times and, as for Government Ministers......? Tony Blair is a man who speaks the truth!
