Which does not prove that the Airways staff are overpaid but that the squaddies are badly underpaid. That is a relatively small differential compared to others that can be found.
Maybe so, but sill, striking when you are on 30K a year? I don't understand it.
Why have you compared these figures: "the average salary of cabin crew" vs "the starting wage of an soldier"? I am on your side, but I think you may have misrepresented the facts here. Cabin crew starting salaries doesn't usually break £20k, you will find that most junior first officers (co-pilots) will be taking home far less than £29k each year (before tax) due to the crippling debt that training usually incurs, that is even when working for British Airways.
